1. About the Service
myworries.com is operated by MoodHelp Ltd. The service provides evidence-informed anxiety support tools for children aged 5-17 and their parents/carers. myworries is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or replacement for professional clinical support.
2. Not Medical Advice
The content and tools provided by myworries are for educational and supportive purposes only. They are based on evidence-informed cognitive-behavioural principles but do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for clinical concerns.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create a parent/carer account
- Child profiles must be for children aged 5-17
- You must have parental responsibility for any child you create a profile for
- All required consents must be provided at registration
4. Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about your child's age and circumstances
- Supervise your child's use as appropriate for their age and developmental stage
- Seek professional help if your child is in crisis
- Not use the service for any child you do not have parental responsibility for
5. Safety
We provide automated safety monitoring and crisis resources within the app. If our systems detect potential safety concerns, we will:
- Display relevant crisis resources immediately
- Notify the parent/carer account holder
- In critical situations, present crisis helpline information
myworries is not an emergency service. If a child is in immediate danger, call 999 or contact your local emergency services.
6. Subscription & Payment
- Free accounts are genuinely free with no time limit
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe
- You can cancel at any time from your account settings
- Refunds are provided within 14 days of first payment if you're not satisfied
- On cancellation, you retain access until the end of your billing period
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and clinical frameworks within myworries are the intellectual property of MoodHelp Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the service without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoodHelp Ltd is not liable for any clinical outcomes, emotional distress, or other consequences arising from use of the service. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered account holders. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
